Advancing Digital Product Passports in Automotive and Aerospace<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

On 21 October<\/strong>, the COMPASS team had the pleasure of participating in the Manufacturing Partnership Days<\/a><\/strong> in Brussels, a key event organised by EFFRA<\/a><\/strong> to connect stakeholders from across Europe\u2019s manufacturing and research ecosystem. This annual event brings together industry leaders, researchers, and policymakers to discuss innovation, collaboration, and sustainable manufacturing practices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A highlight for COMPASS was Christian Eitzinger<\/strong> from PROFACTOR<\/a>, our lead partner, who took the stage during the Circularity Session<\/strong> to showcase how the COMPASS Horizon Europe project<\/strong> is driving the collection, selection, and sharing of data throughout the entire lifecycle of components<\/strong> in the automotive and aerospace sectors. His presentation addressed critical topics such as data formats, IPR protection, and selective access to information<\/strong>, all essential for ensuring that Digital Product Passports (DPPs)<\/strong> deliver real economic value to every stakeholder\u2014an essential factor for successful industry adoption.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We were also pleased to see Riccardo Varotto<\/strong> from NSBproject<\/a>, alongside Enrique Hernandez<\/strong> and Jose Antonio Dieste Marcial<\/strong> from Aitiip Centro Tecnol\u00f3gico<\/a>, sharing COMPASS updates and insights with participants, sparking engaging discussions on circularity and digitalisation in manufacturing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
