EU Circularity
Collaboration: the Key to Innovation
How COMPASS is driving breakthroughs
through strategic partnerships
CREDIT
CREDIT enables circular remanufacturing to support sustainable production, leveraging asset digitalisation, multi-layer Digital Twins, and an open-source ICT platform. The project integrates key digital services—AI decision support, DLT-based traceability, predictive maintenance, and AR tools—while providing a dedicated methodology for workforce training and upskilling.
DiCiM
DiCiM is a 4-year project funded by the European Commission. It demonstrates integrated digital solutions in four use cases in three industrial sectors (white goods, electronics and automotive) representing over two-thirds of the European Economy.
R3-Mydas
R3-MYDAS enables and accelerates the transition of the manufacturing industry It focuses on the development of a multi-actor framework, integrating innovative digital technologies, advanced mechatronics and newly developed approaches from social sciences and humanities.
RemaNet
RemaNet is a Remanufacturing Network driving the shift toward sustainable manufacturing by promoting remanufacturing, recycling, and material efficiency. It establishes a new collaborative business model through a factory-integrated digital platform that connects stakeholders across the entire remanufacturing value chain.
RENEE
RENÉE project aims to address this by shifting towards circular value chains, emphasizing remanufacturing in the household appliances, robotics, and mobility sectors. Utilizing advanced AI and robotics, RENÉE seeks to rejuvenate used products, fostering a sustainable revolution in the EU industry.
RESTORE
The project will develop the RESTORE platform, a suite of digital tools that enhance automation, support decision-making, and optimize remanufacturing processes. It will include simulation and recipe-book tools, a data-driven decision support framework, and a blockchain-enabled digital product passport for full lifecycle traceability
DATA4CIRC
A project funded to develop an innovative data-sharing framework that helps European manufacturing prepare for a more sustainable future by improving access to the information factories need to efficiently and safely recover, recycle, and reuse materials, moving toward a circular economy. The Digital Product Passport (DPP) and a sustainable approach to manufacturing are the key connection points between the two projects.
RecAl
RecAL is a Horizon Europe project aiming to upgrade Europe’s handling of its aluminium supply and metals market place. Via RecAL’s innovative packet of solutions, we can reduce the carbon footprint of aluminium production by enabling the use of secondary resources – and improve the continent’s self-sufficiency along the way. With its numerous applications in a variety of sectors – from transportation to packaging – Aluminium is an indispensable cornerstone of European manufacturing.
